About this handbook

China Handbook is a free, practical guide for first-time visitors to China, made by Mobiverse and hosted by our two guides, Mobi the cat and Toro the dog.

How we keep it accurate

• Every page shows the date we last checked it and links to official sources.
• We don't print numbers that change often — visa-free days, payment limits, fees, prices. We show you where to check the current figure instead.
• Step-by-step guides are published only after we've checked each screen on a real phone in China.
• Policy pages are reviewed every month, app walkthroughs every three months. A page past its review date tells you so.

• This is general guidance, not legal, financial or medical advice. Always confirm with the official source before you travel.
• We are not affiliated with Alipay, WeChat, 12306, DiDi, Taobao or any other app mentioned here. Their names and screens appear only to show you how to use them.
• The handbook doesn't collect personal data. Anything you save here (like your hotel address or checklist) stays on your phone.
